SUBJECT:
Approval of the collective bargaining agreement wage re-opener article between the City of Fort Pierce and Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association (SGT & LT Unit) October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2027.
SUMMARY:
The City and the Union have come to an agreement on the wage re-opener article for the SGT & LT Unit. The compensation step plan includes a range from 6% to 14% increase. In addition to the increases to the steps, SGTs and LTs will be moved to the next step as of October 1, 2025. The agreement has been ratified by the Union.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommeds approval.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff would restart negotiations with the Union.
