SUBJECT:
Approval of a construction contract with C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. for Avenue D resurfacing (29th Street to US-1), Bid No. 2025-024, in the amount of $4,072,873.50.
SUMMARY:
On September 2, 2025, at a City Commission meeting, the Commission awarded Bid No. 2025-024 for the Avenue D Resurfacing project from North 29th Street to U.S. 1, in the total amount of $4,072,873.50.
The contract includes milling and resurfacing of Avenue D from North 29th Street to U.S. 1, along with sidewalk improvements; curb and gutter construction; driveway replacements; ADA ramp upgrades; pavement markings; signing; and installation of video detection at signalized intersections.RECOMMENDATION:
