SUBJECT:
Added Item: Approval of Letter of Support for FDOT's Grant Application for the Statewide Advancement of Feature Enhancements at Intercity Passenger Rail Crossings (SAFE-IPR) Program.
SUMMARY:
FDOT District 4 is requesting assistance in obtaining support letters for a Federal grant application by FDOT Central Office for a Statewide program to improve rail crossing safety. The improvements to be conducted on the FEC Mainline in our area are described in the attached spreadsheet. FEC advised the TPO that they are not involved in this grant.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the letter of support.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not send the letter.
