SUBJECT:
Approval of expenditure for the City’s annual Egnyte, Inc. subscription services for enterprise file sharing and secure document management services in an amount not to not exceed $93,464.40.
SUMMARY:
The City currently utilizes Egnyte, Inc. as a cloud-based enterprise file management and collaboration platform to support secure storage, internal collaboration, and controlled external sharing of operational documents. The platform integrates with the City’s identity management system, allowing user authentication and access control through existing security policies.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the expenditure for the City's annual subscription with Egntye, Inc. for enterprise file sharing and secure document management services, in an amount not to exceed $93,464.40. This service supports secure file storage, collaboration, and data management across City departments, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with data security standards, The continued use of this platform maintains consistency with existing workflows and minimizes disruption to daily operations.
