SUBJECT:
Public Hearing on an amendment to the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) removing Strategy #5, Replacement of Site Built Housing.
SUMMARY:
An amendment to the SHIP LHAP to remove Strategy #5 - Replacement of Site Built Housing, was recommended by the City Commissioners at their 2/8/18 Conference meeting. Communitywide Council approved the amendment 3/9/16. A Public Review and Comment period was held 3/3-4/4, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION:
Allow a Public Hearing, as required by the State Housing Finance Corporation, to amend the SHIP LHAP for fiscal years 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not allow a Public Hearing as required to amend the SHIP LHAP.
