SUBJECT:
Ordinance No. 16-012 Amending the Retirement System as to exclusions for membership requirements and adding a designee who may act on behalf of the City Attorney as legal advisor to the Retirement Board.
SUMMARY:
Ordinance No. 16-012_ Amending Retirement System exclusion requirements to omit certain positions and add the City Attorney as one of the positions excluded. This Ordinance will also be amended to include a designee as a legal advisor to the Retirement Board acting on behalf of the City Attorney.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
ALTERNATIVES:
Retain current Ordinance in place with no revisions.
