SUBJECT:
Approve Agreement for Continuing Legal Services with Hayskar, Walker, Schwerer, Dundas & McCain, P.A. for litigation cases currently being handled, and the provision of legal representation to the Retirement Board.
SUMMARY:
Agreement for Continuing Legal Services on litigation cases currently handled by Hayskar, Walker, Schwerer, Dundas & McCain, P.A. This will ensure an orderly continuation of the litigation services provided on specific cases. The Agreement also provides for legal representation of the Retirement Board. Invoices will be provided on a monthly basis by the Firm for legal services rendered and costs expended on the City's behalf. Any amounts associated with the Retirement Board will be funded by the Retirement Board itself. The City Attorney will have oversight of the invoices submitted.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of Agreement for Continuing Legal Services.
