SUBJECT:

Approve acceptance of Johnson-Davis, Inc's. construction proposal in the amount of $40,000.00 to replace drainage outfalls that have failed.

SUMMARY:

The existing 15" CMP drainage outfall which conveys stormwater run-off from Alhambra, Binney, DeSota, and Coquina roadways has failed and is in need of replacement.  The scope of work proposed to be completed includes the modification of the existing storm manhole, installation of 50 LF of 15” HDPE drainage pipe, and abandonment of the existing decrepit CMP pipe. 

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval and acceptance of the lowest proposal as submitted by Johnson-Davis, Inc. in the amount of $40,000.00.

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
