FINDINGS/ORDER:
Matter was not heard by the Special Magistrate and no order was issued. Nuisance abatement case processed through the administrative procedures outlined in Sec. 16-49.
ACTION DATES:
- February 6, 2016 - Notice of Violation was sent via certified mail. Notice provides owner 10 days to come into compliance or to request a hearing.
- March 3, 2016, inspection was made, the property was not in compliance.
- March 3, 2016 Staff posted property as required by Sec. 16-49.
- Approximately March 8, 2016 - the green card was returned unsigned.
- June 23, 2016 - The City's contractor, Gone Fishing Landscaping & More LLC, corrected the violations.
- August 22, 2016 Invoice mailed to property owner for $1,900.00. Invoice provides an opportunity to contest the charges prior to a lien being filed (Massey Notice).
- September 28, 2016 received letter from Edmond Charles, Marie J. Charles, & Pierre M. Charles disputing the work done.
