SUBJECT:
Waive interest, penalties, and administrative fees in the amount of $237.95 associated with the Lot Clearing Lien against 824 Avenue D, Ft. Pierce, FL. Property ID #2410-601-0089-000-7 owned by David Moloney, P. O. Box 882045, Steamboat Springs, CO 80488 contingent upon payment of $47.25 payable within 60 days.
SUMMARY:
Mr. Moloney bought the property through a tax lien sale. He failed to do a lien search prior to purchase and afterwards learned of the liens on the property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends waiving the interest, penalties, and administrative fees in the amount of $237.95 leaving a balance due of $47.25 payable in 60 days.
