SUBJECT:
Approval of Grant Award for Nidal Farhoud for his business, Elite Groceries, in the amount of $3,000 as an eligible recipient under the 2015-2016 CDBG Action Plan.
SUMMARY:
2015-2016 CDBG allocated funding for small business grants for owners who attend two (2) small business workshops to purchase items to improve capacity and sustainability. Mr. Farhoud attended workshops 8/18 and 11/16/16 and applied for grant to help purchase grease trap for his business.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for Elite Groceries.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve grant award.
