SUBJECT:
Ordinance No. 17-003 amending City Ordinance Chapter 4 - Animals; Article IV - Impoundment; Section 4-76 - Release of Impounded Animals. FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
Amending the ordinance to require the owner of an impounded animal be responsible for reimbursing the City the impoundment fees billed by the Humane Society and to allow management to consider mitigating factors and reduce or waive such impoundment fee if warranted.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the proposed amendment.
ALTERNATIVES:
Provide for additional amendments.
