SUBJECT:
Approve grant award for Geraldine Clark, for her business, HyShe Boutique and Furniture Consignment in the amount of $3,000, as an eligible recipient under the 2016-2017 CDBG Action Plan - Grant Award for Small Business.
SUMMARY:
Program Yr 2016-17 CDBG allocates funding for grants for small businesses that attend two (2) educational workshops. Ms. Clark attended workshops 8/16 & 11/16. Ms. Clark also attended workshops and received a small business grant for program year 2015-16.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for Ms. Clark to purchase advertising for her business, HyShe Boutique Consignment.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve grant award.
