SUBJECT:
Resolution No. 17-R31 establishing a fee for the Clean and Safe Community Program as provided in Sec. 5-369 of the City Code of Ordinances
SUMMARY:
- Ordinance No. 17-028 as adopted by the City Commission provides for the Clean Community Fee to be established by resolution.
- The Clean Community Fee shall be set at $1.00 per month.
- Such fee shall be applied to each utility customer within the city limits and listed as a separate fee on the monthly utility bill.
- All fees collected through the Clean Community Program are to be placed in a restricted fund and may only be used to for the Clean Community Program.
- An audit of income and expenses will be conducted annually and a report presented to the City Commission.
