Presentation on the Comprehensive Gang Model
SUMMARY:
Chief Baldwin has worked with the Roundtable of St. Lucie County and other community partners to build upon the Restoring the Village initiative and develop a long term solution to gang violence in our community. The Roundtable has adopted the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's Comprehensive Gang Model as the primary strategy for addressing gang violence in St. Lucie County, with initial priority being focused in Fort Pierce's Lincoln Park Community. The purpose of this presentation is to provide the City Commission with an overview of the model and an update on progress being made to implement the plan.
