SUBJECT:
Quasi-Judicial Hearing (Waived): Review and approval of an application for Site Plan, Design Review, and Conditional Use, submitted by Property Owner(s), Lawnwood Medical Center, Inc. and Representative, Adam Crunk, PE to complete an 11,150 SF addition to the existing Lawnwood Pavilion Facility, in order to provide for an additional twelve (12) beds within the psychiatric extension of the facility which is located at 1860 N Lawnwood Circle, Fort Pierce, FL. The property is zoned Office Commercial (C-1) Parcel IDs: 2416-504-0199-030-0 & 2416-504-0207-000-1
SUMMARY:
- The applicant is proposing an 11,150 SF addition to the existing Lawnwood Pavilion Facility, to provide for an additional twelve (12) beds within their psychiatric extension, located at 1860 North Lawnwood Circle. The subject property is 8.4 acres in size and is located within the Office Commercial (C-1) zoning district.
- The presented addition is designed to match the architectural aesthetics and structure height to the existing complex. The project includes improvements to parking, stormwater via enhancement as bio-swales, additional landscaping, and expanded lighting on-site.
- The Planning Board, at their January 23rd, 2018 meeting, voted unanimously to recommend approval of the proposal.
- A total of 66 notifications of the proposal were mailed to the owners of property located within 500 feet of the subject property. To-date, one response has been collected in support of the request and zero in opposition. An updated tally of the garnered responses will be provided to the City Commission at the public hearing.
