SUBJECT:
Reduce Code Enforcement Lien in the amount of $17,540.00 against 407 S. 24th Street, owned by Benjie Sperling, to $9,935.48, which is the amount of proceeds from a tax sale.
SUMMARY:
Staff and the Special Magistrate recommends the City Commission reduce fines totaling $17,540.00 against 407 S. 24th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL to $9,935.48 based upon the following:
1. The previous owner was the violator and the violation was minor; landscape maintenance.
2. New owner purchased property through a tax sale.
3. Proceeds from tax sale is more than 50% of the total lien due.

RECOMMENDATION:
