SUBJECT:
Approve an extension of the City Attorney Employment Agreement with a new expiration date of April 22, 2023 with the same terms and conditions.
SUMMARY:
The current City Attorney contract terminates on April 24th 2019. If either party gives written notice of termination or notice of non-renewal no later than January 24th 2019 the contract is terminated. In order to ensure a commitment by both parties to an uninterrupted continuation of the employment agreement the City Attorney seeks a four year extension of the current agreement. The extension does not change any other terms and conditions of the current agreement.
