SUBJECT:
Approve the purchase of Click2Gov software from SunGard that will allow employees and retirees to have self-service access to employee data and allow applicants to file job applications on-line in the total amount of $12,296.00.
SUMMARY:
To purchase software that will facilitate processes that are handled by employees, which would significantly reduce the cost of time and materials. Click2Gov Applicant Tracking empowers citizens through self service in filling out job applications and it interfaces with our HR module. Click2Gov Employee Self Service empowers employees and retirees to take advantage of accessing their data anytime and anyplace via the world wide web as needed. Also, allows employees to view and print personal information such as check stubs, W2s and 1099Rs. The software solutions contains robust security functionality which ensures that all data transmitted from the database is fully protected and secure. The Retirement Board has approved to pay $6,000 towards the cost of the software solution.
RECOMMENDATION:
To approve the Click2Gov Applicants and Employee Self Service modules.
