SUBJECT:

Approval of Specific Authorization No.3 to RFQ 2016-014 for Tetra Tech Inc. in the amount of $64,869.00 pending approval by City Attorney as to form and correctness.

SUMMARY:

Specfic Authorization No. 3 is for the stabilization of Tern Island beaches and slopes after storm repairs were completed by Gator Dredging.
Tetra Tech will install 35,000 sq. ft. of errosion contol blanket including Sea Oats for slope stablization.  Shore line stabilization plantings will consist of Paspalum Vagiatum and Spartina Alterniflora for shore line stabliztion. This is required under the City's permit with the FDEP and Army Corps as part of our slope repairs caused by Hurricanes Matthew and Irma.

Approval

ALTERNATIVES:

Place project out for bid to seek other pricing and another contractor with proper qualifications, knowledge of our project and permit requirements.

OTHER INFORMATION:

This is required under the City's Permit with the FDEP and Army Corps. The Marina was to have started a Maintenance fund equivalent to 3% of Gross annual revenues in 2010.
