SUBJECT:
Resolution 19-R14 Supporting House Bill 219 and Senate Bill 370, requiring mandatory minimum incarceration for prostitution offences involving victims of human trafficking.
SUMMARY:
The Treasure Coast Regional League of Cities passed a similar resolution and is urging its member cities to do the same to protect the victims of human trafficking.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Resolution 19-R14.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not adopt or adopt with changes.
