SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 21-002 Amending Chapter 109 of the Code of Ordinances, Floodplain Management Ordinance. SECOND READING
SUMMARY:
Requesting changes to the Floodplain Management ordinance in order to maintain our current class in our Community Rating System (CRS). These changes include a one-foot freeboard requirement for mobile homes and floodplain management requirements for agricultural and accessory structures.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the requested amendment.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the requested amendment at this time.
