SUBJECT:
Approval of CDBG Emergency Rehabilitation Strategy increase of funding in the additional amount of $50,000.00.
SUMMARY:
The CDBG Emergency Rehabilitation strategy of the FY22-23 Annual Action Plan was approved on August 15, 2023. Based on the SHIP Rehabilitation Program, there are homes that exceeded the scope of the SHIP Rehabs. In order to address the severity of the rehabilitation needs of Fort Pierce, the Grants Division is requesting an increase in CDBG funding for the Emergency Rehab strategy.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the increase in funding for the CDBG Rehabilitation Program.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff shall proceed as directed by the Commission.
