Approve recommendations from the Arts and Culture Advisory Board Seeking Approval of Funding for Artistic and Cultural Initiatives as follows: (1) Funding of Artist Anita Prentice for Mosaic Grave Caps Honoring three Highwaymen Artists in an amount not to exceed $5,000 per topper; (2) issue call for Artist for New Sculpture at City Hall; and (3) issue call for Artist to identify a qualified mosaic artist to perform maintenance and restoration work on the existing mosaic benches; Funding is available for the Art in Public Places restricted fund which has a balance of $140,657.01.

The Arts and Culture Advisory Board seeks approval for the following: 

• Recommendation for Approval of Funding Commission of Artist Anita Prentice for Mosaic Grave Caps Honoring two Highwaymen Artists in an amount not to exceed $10,000 ($5,000 per topper)
• Recommendation for Sculpture Relocation of Sculpture in Front of City Hall and Call for Artist for New Sculpture at City Hall
• Recommendation for Ongoing Restoration Funding for Mosaic Bench Maintenance.

Funding for these initiatives will be allocated from the Art In Public Places account (100-1111-519-000-0000-549875). The fund balance for Art in Public Places is $140,657.01
