SUBJECT:
Approve the Second Amendment to the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Grant Agreement with the US DOT/Federal Highway Administration (693JJ32340234) to officially close the project.
SUMMARY:
In June 2023 the City executed Agreement 693JJ32340234 for the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Grant to complete the City of Fort Pierce Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.
At the September 15, 2025 City Commission meeting, Resolution 26-R69 was accepted and the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan was Adopted.
Coordination and reimbursement of the grant funding has been completed and the US Department of Transportation has provided Amendment 002 to officially close the project.
City Attorney review requested a change in the title of the Amendment. However, this document is provided by USDOT/FHWA, it is assumed to be as needed.
