Resolution 18-R07 Appointing members to the Board of Examiners of Contractors following a vote.

There are three members whose terms expired in February of 2017, and two whose terms will soon expire on February 3, 2018.  We have attached four (4) applications from new applicants who would like to be considered:  Michael Waldrop (General Contractor); Edward Smith (Electrical Contractor); Lionel Dunbar (Contractor and Architect); and Robert Allen  (Mechanical Contractor).  

Three current members are seeking reappointment; Ken Waters, (Mechanical and Electrical Contractor); James Matula (Electrical Contractor) and Don Bergman (Architect), whose applications are also attached.

The Board shall consist of three (3) consumer representatives and six (6) licensed professionals and/or general or specialty contractors.  Currently there is one (1) Consumer Representative  and four (4) Licensed Trade vacancies.

Staff recommends the City Commission consider all applications.
