SUBJECT:
Approval of cash match totaling $28,860.94 for grant from Florida Department of Environmental Protection and approve acceptance of grant award to purchase and install new pump out system for Fort Pierce City Marina.
SUMMARY:
Cash match totaling $28,860.94, which is 1/4 of the cost of a new pump out system for the City Marina, is required by FL DEP to qualify for grant totaling $86,582.81 for the purchase and installation of a new sewer pump out system for the Fort Pierce City Marina. Total Cost of the project is $115,443.75.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve $28,860.94 as the cash match, the grant application submittal and approval of a grant award from FL DEP to purchase and install a new pump out system for the Fort Pierce City Marina.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the cash match or grant application submittal and receipt of a grant award from FL DEP to purchase and install a new pump out system for the City Marina.
