Approval to execute a Service Agreement between the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency and Mow 4 Less for FPRA Properties Lawn Mowing and Maintenance Services in the amount of $42,750.00
SUMMARY:
Staff is seeking approval to execute a Service Agreement between the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency and Mow 4 Less for lawn mowing and maintenance services for FPRA-owned properties in the amount of $42,750.00. Bid 2025-020 for these services was awarded at the May 13, 2025 FPRA meeting. This agreement ensures that FPRA properties are properly maintained, remain in compliance with City codes, and reflect a high standard of quality and appearance throughout the district.
This agreement will terminate on September 30, 2026, unless terminated earlier. The FPRA will have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew this Agreement for two (2) additional one-year terms.
FPRA REDEVELOPMENT GOAL/POLICY:
This contract supports the Redevelopment Plan by maintaining FPRA-owned properties in a safe, clean and presentable condition. Routine mowing helps reduce blight, improve public safety, and neighborhood appearance, and preserve FPRA assets for future redevelopment or community use.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval to execute the Service Agreement between the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency and Mow 4 Less for FPRA Properties Lawn Mowing and Maintenance Services in the amount of $42,750.00.
ALTERNATIVES:
Reject the Service Agreement and direct staff to re-advertise the bid for FPRA Properties Lawn Mowing and Maintenance Services.
