SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 18-031 Modifying language in Chapter 12, Section 12-202 to remove the prohibition of delivery and demonstration of any item or service in City Parks. FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
At the August 13, 2018 Conference Agenda, the City Commission expressed a desire to modify the existing code to provide for a short-term solution for our local businesses and to seek assistance from the parks committee in looking at long-term appropriate vending opportunities in city parks.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Ordinance 18-031
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not adopt or adopt with modifications.
