SUBJECT:
Acceptance of Proposal/Engagement Letter from Colin Baenziger & Associates to provide City Attorney recruitment services for an amount not to exceed $23,500.
SUMMARY:
At the August 24, 2018 special meeting, the City Commission accepted the resignation of City Attorney James M. Messer and directed staff to procure the services of a local government management employment consultant for the purpose of selecting and hiring a professional in-house city attorney.
The projected completion date for the hiring of a city attorney is December 2018.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the acceptance of the Proposal/Engagement Letter from Colin Baenziger and Associates. Mr. Baezinger has successfully provided professional qualified candidates for three positions previously.

Staff will proceed as directed by the City Commission.
