SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 18-035 - Amending Chapter 5, Article II of the Code of Ordinances Entitled "Contractors" - FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
Presented to the Commission for consideration is Ordinance 18-035, amending several Sections of Chapter 5, Article II "Contractors" to provide clarification with regard to and including: Board of Examiner of Contractors members; applicants for a Certificate of Competency; contractor registration, regulations and requirements; and to change the venue of citation administrative hearings to the Special Magistrate.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Ordinance 18-035
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not adopt the Ordinance as presented.
