SUBJECT:
Approval of the annual Humane Society contract for FY 2019 in an amount not to exceed $133,000.00 payable in monthly increments of $11,083.34..
SUMMARY:
Amendments to the contract include:
- The annual fee was increased $3,000.00 from $130,000 to $133,000 and is payable in monthly increments.
- Payment is due within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the invoice (paid by blanket purchase order).
- The daily impound fee for animals impounded for cruelty cases was increased from $5 per day to $10 per day.
- Kitten litters, either with or without their dam, is counted as two animals.
- Termination clause has been amended to 60 days for either party.
