SUBJECT:
Request approval to award General Services Continuing Contracts with the two (2) firms, S & ME and NZ Consultants, on a project by project basis, ranked highest as a result of RFQ 2018-054.
SUMMARY:
RFQ 2018-054 was issues to solicit for General Planning Services for various projects including but not limited to the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), an update to the CRA Master Plan and technical assistance in Development Review. The City received five proposals today. After careful review and ranking, a committee comprised of Public Works, City Clerk, Finance and Purchasing came to the concensus to awrd the RFQ to S & ME and NZ Consultants as the two highest ranked firms. Both firms will be considered on a project by project basis for projects.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve entering into Professional Services Continuing Contracts with two firms: S & ME Inc and NZ Consultants following the City Attorney's review of the contract for form and correctness.
ALTERNATIVES:
To discard all proposals and solicit again.
