SUBJECT:
Approval of Specific Authorization No. 4 in an amount not to exceed $86,414.00 for construction engineering inspection (CEI) services relating to the Ohio Avenue Roadway Improvements construction project.
SUMMARY:
The proposed construction includes the realignment of the roadway, east of U.S. Highway 1 to South 3rd Street, in order to better align the eastern leg with the west leg of Ohio Avenue. The proposed improvements include signalization, drainage improvements, curb & gutter, sidewalks, landscape, and irrigation. The City is required to retain an FDOT certified CEI consultant to oversee construction activities and provide verification testing as needed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval

Negotiate with another continuing service provider on the City's professional consultant list.
