SUBJECT:
Approve letter to Western Pennsylvania National Parks Service requesting the loan of a rock from the Flight 93 National Memorial which will be incorporated into the memorial for CeeCee Ross Lyles located adjacent to the River Walk Center.
SUMMARY:
Ms. Shirley Adderly has contacted the National Park Service to secure the loan of a rock. A formal request is required from the Mayor and City Commission in order for them to process the request.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the letter of request.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve or approve with modifications.
