Police Department Blanket Purchase Orders for FY 2020

SUBJECT:

Approval of annual/blanket purchase orders for the Police Department for the FY 2020 in the amount not to exceed $391,577.

SUMMARY:

Annual/blanket purchase orders from vendors with the best price and products to meet the Police Department's specific needs.  Please see the attached list for amounts and descriptions of the requested vendors.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of the request.  If denied, provide direction on a more efficient method of purchasing.

ALTERNATIVES:

The alternative would be to issue an individual purchase order for every purchase, which would be very time consuming and will lead to inefficiencies.
