SUBJECT:

Approval of the acceptance of an award from Florida Inland Navigation District (F.I.N.D.) in the amount up to $11,250 for the removal of a derelict vehicle from the Intracoastal Waterway.

SUMMARY:

FIND has awarded funding for reimbursement (of 75%, up to a maximum project cost of $11,250) to remove a derelict vehicle from the Intracoastal Waterway.  The vehicle is located off the boat ramp at Jaycee Park and may pose a hazard to boaters.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this request.  

ALTERNATIVES:

The awarded funding may be declined for the removal of the submerged vehicle.
