Approve request to reduce code enforcement lien in the amount of $15,790.00 against 529 N 11th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 - Parcel ID Number 2409-501-0118-0009 previously owned by Donnie A. Parker, 529 N 11th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 and currently owned by Qamar U. Wahaj, 233 SW Whitmore Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984 to $1,850.00 payable in 60 days.

SUMMARY:

The request for reduction is made by Mr. Wahaj, the current owner of the property.  He made all the corrections and brought the property into compliance. Mr. Wahaj's original request was to reduce to $1,790.00.  At the hearing before the Special Magistrate, he agree to the reduced amount of $1,850.00 payable in 60 days.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Special Magistrate, having heard the request of the owner and testimony from staff, recommends reducing the lien to $1,850.00 payable in 60 days.  If not paid within the 60 days, the lien will revert to the original amount of $15,790.00.
