SUBJECT:

Approval of request to reduce Code Enforcement lien in the amount of $2,580.00 against 1800 Oleander Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 - Parcel ID Number 2415-703-0156-000-6 owned by Adrian Hudson Curtis, 1800 Oleander Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950.  In accordance with previously established policy, staff recommends waiving $1,480.00 leaving a balance due of $1,100.00 payable in 36 months. If not paid within this time period, the lien will revert to the original amount.  However, applicant is requesting a waiver of all fines in the amount of $2,580.00 leaving a balance of $.00 to be paid, which requires a direct vote by Commission.

SUMMARY:

Request by applicant to waive Code Enforcement lien in the amount of $2,580.00 in full.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Special Magistrate, having heard the request of the owner and testimony from staff, recommends reducing the lien to $1,100.00 payable in 18 months after the first case #06-2191 is paid (36 months).  If not paid within this time, the lien will revert to the original amount of $2,580.00.
