Approval of seven (7) Subordination of Utility Interest Agreements to the Florida Department of Transportation associated with the FDOT North Causeway Bridge Replacement which have been approved by the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority.

FPUA has seven easements that require subordinations to Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) within the project limits of the North Causeway Bridge Replacement project. These subordinations will be presented to the FPUA Board at our upcoming meeting on September 1^st.
 
The subordination agreements require Fort Pierce City Commission approvals. If you could please let me know the date for the next City Commission meeting that we could get this item on the agenda for consideration and approval.  After FPUA Board and City Commission approvals I will send the document to Florida Department of Transportation for signature and will provide you with the fully executed copy once received back from FDOT.
 
Below is additional supporting information in regards to the subordinations.
 
FPUA currently has eight easements that require subordinations to FDOT within the project limits of the North Causeway Bridge Replacement project. As stipulated in the subordination documents, any utilities within the easements that must be relocated, now or in the future, will be relocated at the FDOT's expense. Likewise, any utilities that are constructed within the linear extent of a vacant easement and must be relocated in the future, will also be relocated at the FDOT's expense. Effectively, FPUA will maintain the benefit of the easements although they have been subordinated to the FDOT.
