SUBJECT:
Approve grant award for 2311 Avenue D, DC Grocery, in the amount of up to $5,000, as an eligible recipient under the Way to Grow Lincoln Park Historic Avenue D Business District Small Business Commercial Facade Grant Program.
SUMMARY:
2018-2019 CDBG allocates funds for small businesses of up to $5000.00. The quotes furnished are above the approval amount, however, applicant will choose lowest quote for the work of up to $5000 and may complete the remainder of repairs using other funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve grant award for 2311 Avenue D to cover commecial facade improvements of up to $5000.00.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve this grant award.
