SUBJECT:
Approve request from former Commissioner Sessions for reimbursement of expenses associated with the defense of a complaint filed against him with the Florida Commission on Ethics, which was dismissed.
SUMMARY:
On September 12, 2019, the Florida Comission on Ethics received Complaint 19-161 filed against Commissioner Reginald B. Sessions. At the executive session on July 24, 2020, the Florida Commission of Ethics issued a Public Report finding no probable cause and dismissing the complaint against former Commissioner Sessions.
This request has been reviewed by an external independent attorney who recommends the reimbursement of attorney's fees in the amount of $1,530.00.

RECOMMENDATION:
Reimburse the attorney's fees associated with the defense of Complaint 19-161 to Reginald B. Sessions in the amount of $1,530.00.
