SUBJECT:
Parklet Program Update
SUMMARY:
The Parklet Program was created to allow businesses to temporarily use on-street parking to offset capacity restrictions due to COVID-19. There are currently 12 businesses participating in the program.
RECOMMENDATION:
Maintain the status quo until re-evaluation on April 27, 2021 during FPRA Board Meeting.
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Discontinue the parklet program.
2. Develop Citywide Parklet Program with permit application and fee.
2. Develop Citywide Parklet Program with permit application and fee.
