SUBJECT:
Approval to Extend Negotiation Period with Shelli Associates for the Redevelopment of Fisherman's Wharf for 60 days.
SUMMARY:
At the Special Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency Meeting on March 22, 2021, the FPRA Board evaluated the two highest-ranked proposals received in response to RFP 2020-023 for the Redevelopment of FIsherman's Wharf. The FPRA Board voted to enter into negotiations with Shelli Associates for a period of 90 days. The 90-day negotiation period is set to expire on June 20, 2021. Staff is requesting to extend the negotiation period for 60 days.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve 60-day extension.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the FPRA Board.
