SUBJECT:
Approval of award of the South 5th Street Roadway Improvements construction contract to the low bidder, Dickerson Florida, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $845,130.00.
SUMMARY:
This project proposes the reconstruction of South 5th Street between Boston Avenue and Delaware Avenue. Improvements include the undergrounding of overhead utilities, drainage system upgrades, new sidewalks, stamped concrete crosswalks, curb and gutter installation, decorative street lighting, irrigation, landscaping, on-street parking, and roadway reconstruction. In conjunction with the roadway improvements FPUA will be installing a new 6" potable water main. The construction is expected to be completed 150-days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
