SUBJECT:
Approval of Change Order No. 2 to Bid No. 2020-044 Street Resurfacing Program for CW Roberts Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $44,000.00 for the construction of traffic calming speed tables on Bayshore Drive.
SUMMARY:
CW Roberts Contracting, Inc. has provided a proposal for the removal of three existing speed bumps and replacement with three speed tables on Bayshore Drive. The proposed work will remove the existing speed bumps, construct three relocated speed tables to conform to current Mannual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards. Construction will also include all signage and pavement markings.
RECOMMENDATION:
Engineering recommends approval of change order No. 2.
ALTERNATIVES:
Seek additional quotes.
