Presentation by Melaine George, Sunrise Theatre Advisory Board Member of a Specialized Area of a  Public Facility 

Consideration of naming a specialized area of the Sunrise Theatre after Fort Pierce resident, Earl Little. The Sunrise Theatre Advisory Board met  on May 11, 2021 and unanimously approved naming the Sunrise Theatre's front portion of the balcony area as the Earl Frank Little Mezzanine or the Sunrise Theatre Lobby, Earl Frank Little Foundation Lobby.

Mr. Little's career has spanned sixty-eight years education, directing, and performing in the field of musical arts in our community. Little's love for music and theater began at Lincoln Park Academy in the 1930s.  Returning to Fort Pierce in 1955, he has spent his lifelong career teaching music and the arts in our community. Retired from St. Lucie County School System in 1991. His continued support of the Fort Pierce community included many years of service with volunteer and civic organizations and events by directing area performances. Mr. Little's impact on his students along with dedicated recordings of events, performances, awards, and honors during his tenure solidify his enormous contributions and influence in Fort Pierce.
