SUBJECT:

Approve staff recommendation in response to request to reduce lot clearing and demolition fees in the amount of $19,488.32 against 1501 Avenue D, Fort Pierce, FL, Parcel ID# 2409-506-0006-000/6 owned by Comian X2 Tax Lien Fund, by waiving the interest, penalties and a portion of the administrative costs in the amount of $11,940.60, leaving a balance due of $7,548.38 payable in 60 days. The applicant, Vincent Marcellino, 8015 Plantation Lakes Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, is asking to waive all costs including the hard costs in the amount of $19,488.32 leaving a balance due of $0.00, which requires the item be pulled from the Consent Agenda with a direct vote of the City Commission.

SUMMARY:

Request by applicant / proposed buyer, Vincent Marcellino, to waive all costs including City incurred charges, administrative fees, interest and penalties in the amount of $19,488.32.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends waiving a portion of the administrative fees, interest and penalties only in the amount of $11,940.60, leaving a balance due of $7,548.38, including $160.00 in recording fees, payable in 60 days.

ALTERNATIVES:

Approve the applicant's request.
Determine an alternate amount.
