SUBJECT:
Ordinance No. 14-022 - Correcting Scrivener's error in Ordinance No. K-308; Correcting zoning status of annexed property and changing same from R-1 (Single Family Low Density) to PUD (Planned Unit Development). SECOND READING
SUMMARY:
As part of the the annexation process of Carriage Pointe Estates (fka Ten Mile Estates) into the City in 2004, per Fla. Stat. § 171.062(2), the City should have assigned a zoning classifications equivalent to its County zoning classification as it was prior to annexation.The City is now requesting a rezoning of Carriage Pointe Estates from an R-1 zoning district to a PUD zoning district as a scrivener’s error.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval for the rezoning of Carriage Pointe Estates from an R-1 zoning district to a PUD zoning district as a scrivener’s error.
