SUBJECT:
Approval to enter into a contract with Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. in which said consultant shall provide professional engineering services in an amount not to exceed $75,370 for Phase II of the Indian Hills Recreation Area Stormwater Improvements project FKA Heathcote Botanical Park and Gardens Stormwater project.
SUMMARY:
This contract includes professional engineering services for Phase II of the project. Services include preparation of construction documents and specifications associated with the Wetland Restoration plans, parking areas, observation platforms, canoe launch facilities, timber bridges and construction services in accordance Exhibit "A" of the contract documents.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
ALTERNATIVES:
Request proposals from other firms on the City's continuing service providers short-list, RFQ No. 2013-005 Professional Engineering Services.
